The Women for Ukraine initiative is an encyclopedic collection of inspiring stories about women who have helped Ukraine. The project tells the real stories of the unsung heroes of the war in Ukraine: the women behind the headlines; the women in Ukraine who lost just about everything, but did not lose faith, as well those in the US and elsewhere, who, like you, turned compassion into action. On February 24, the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we held a charity concert called Stand with Ukraine 365 at the Oceana Theater in New York City.
World-famous ballet stars, opera singers, instrument players, and musicians from several genres and styles joined forces to support Ukraine and Ukrainians.
 
A stirring speech was delivered by NYC Mayor Eric Adams, who said, "You may not be able to fight the war there, but you can support the war here. So we thank you for being here tonight. Let's continue to lift the Ukrainian people in our prayers. Let's continue to call for the end to this senseless war, and let's continue to watch the prosperity of the brave people of Ukraine." A Screening in New York City of the Documentary "Mariupol. Unlost Hope" chronicles the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the Russian-occupied city of Mariupol, Ukraine, through the eyes of those who experienced it personally.The screening was be followed by the panel "The truth must not become a victim of war."
