Meet The Team
Dennis Kutsin | Founder and CEO
Dennis has over 8 years of emergency service experience.
From firefighting with a background as a rescue and hazmat technician to incident management training. He also has a diploma in international security studies. This project is close to his heart as both of his parents are Ukrainian and he has other family members who are still living in Kyiv.
Meir Teitelbaum | Co-Founder and Legal Counsel
Attorney Meir Teitelbaum comes to us with wide ranging experience in both the legal world as well as emergency services. Mr. Teitelbaum was an active volunteer firefighter for fifteen years, advancing to the status of “engineer,” responsible for driving and operating fire apparatus and running emergency scenes. He also served on the executive board and was elected to as a firemanic officer. During this time Mr. Teitelbaum worked for the Rockland County Sheriff's Office as a communication officer.
Mr. Teitelbaum graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2019. During his time in law school Mr. Teitelbaum concentrated his studies in intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution. He interned for the NYPD legal department as well as a small litigation firm specializing in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). After law school Mr. Teitelbaum worked for a boutique litigation firm in Boca Raton Florida, before accepting a job as general counsel and moving back to New York.
Mr. Teitelbaum’s sharp intellect and unique background make him a particularly valuable asset. In his spare time Mr. Teitelbaum enjoys spending time with his dog Daisy and his cat Leo. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures having been to over twenty-five countries so far. When the weather is nice you can find him enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and gardening. Wherever his life has taken him Mr. Teitelbaum always puts justice first and endeavours to find ways his skills can be used to improve his community, his country, and the world at large.
Tatiana Ross | Chief Financial Officer
As a member of BNYM’s Risk Management Team, Tatiana is responsible for analyzing financial institutions including insurance companies, asset managers, and funds. Tatiana’s career path as a senior analyst and credit relationship manager spans many global names in the financial sector including Barclays, Credit Agricole, and HSBC.
Tatiana joined BNYM in 2014 with an extensive experience in credit and counter party analysis. In the past two years, Tatiana has been involved in developing a risk framework to integrate an ESG lens into the way the company operates and implement plans to address those ESG-related risks and opportunities.
Tatiana holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BS in Food and Science from the Trade Finance College in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Adam Gordon | Board Member
Adam, a former firefighter Chief, has 28 years of experience in active service as a volunteer firefighter. He has a bachelors of science degree in protection management from John Jay College. Adam is currently a building and fire safety inspector as well as a sales representative for a fire and emergency equipment company.
Evelina Kuz | Board Member
Evelina holds the position of coordinator at Razom, a nonprofit organization which provides urgent help and support to Ukraine. Razom has been responding to the Russian invasion by providing critical humanitarian war relief and recovery aid. Born and raised in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, Evelina moved to the United States at the age of twelve. She spent a number of years living in Philadelphia before relocating to New York City where she resides currently with her husband and six year old daughter.
